I feel as though the notion of contemporary art and modern art is one that is hard to understand. So I have the massively accredited site that is never wrong to help everyone to understand. I feel like the Wikipedia Contemporary Art page is a great source for understanding what contemporary art is. Also a source to help understand what modern art really means is the Wikipedia Mordern Art page.
The big differences between the two are the time period of each and why they are made. 1970's artists and on (since WWII) are counted as contemporary artists. Any before then are considered modern. Modern art was created more as movement emphasis art, meaning to help promote a cause going on at that time. Contemporary art seems to be more used more for commercial usage than anything.
I feel as though this should be on my page so everybody will have an idea of what it is I am talking about before I actual begin an argument about my topic. BUT BE WARNED, in the near future the argument will arise. (DUM DUM DUM!)

I really like this post Dustin, it is very informative. I never really knew the difference between types of art such as modern and contemporary artwork. The two types of art sound like the same thing, just by looking at the names, but now I see that they are two very different things.
