This article in the New York Times shows that the art world of today is highly unnoticed. It proves this by showing a "Jackass" style performance but art handlers just to get a little recognition from the community. Has art really stooped so low to have to do things like have three guys hold sixty pound paintings against the wall while getting ordered to perform other activities. Contemporary art needs to find a way to get noticed without stepping down to the level of a reality TV show.
